Internet Safety Workshop
We are holding an internet safety workshop between 10.00am and 2.00pm on 24th April 2017 at Autism Initiatives, 24 Hill Street, Edinburgh for people requiring basic computer skills to get online, how to set up an email account, use of search engines, demystifying some of the jargon that goes along with computers and the internet. Carers can bring along their own laptops or tablets, although we will provide laptops for those Carers who do not possess their own.
After this initial one off basic skills workshop, we will arrange subsequent workshops with the emphasis on how the Internet can help Carers have more time for themselves by doing things like online shopping, banking and paying bills. As well as keeping themselves and their family safe online, we will include the use of Social Media sites, Forums and the like.
Lunch will be provided so let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
Please let us know if you would like to attend by telephone: 0131 475 2416 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
