SUMMARY:Autism Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Autism: a brief glimpse into a world of difference . \nThis workshop will be delivered by Sarah Barratt\, Pasda Carer and Educational Psychologist. It is free (although donations are appreciated) for Parents and Carers of autistic adults (16 and over) who reside in the Lothian area. Fee for professionals is £30. \nMore people today are aware and accepting of Autism\, but to meaningfully parent\, support and work with Autistic young people and adults requires a deeper capacity to understand and ‘talk Autism’. Sarah will share with you some of the neuroscience that underpins the difference that is Autism\, how this understanding can help re frame what is often difficult to understand and with this new appreciation for us to become advocates together with the Autistic community. \nBooking is required by emailing us at Pasda@info.org.uk
