DESCRIPTION:In June the walking group will be taking a trip to Cramond Island. We will meet outside the Assembly Rooms on George Street at 9:30am before catching the Number 41 bus to Cramond Village. If you would prefer to make your own way to Cramond we should be there around 10:20am. When we arrive in Cramond Village we will take a walk over to Cramond Island and have a wander around. \nWhen we get back from Cramond Island we will stop for lunch in the Cramond Gallery Bistro before returning to Edinburgh on the number 41 bus. \nI have looked at forecasted tide times online and the first safe crossing time is expected to be around 9:38am with the last safe crossing time being 14:21pm\, so that should give us plenty of time to explore without the risk of getting stranded. These tide times are just a forecast so if they change dramatically then we may have to think of a plan b.
