World Autism Awareness 2017

Our first public event for families will be a variety of live acoustic music, story-telling, comedy and Jojo Sutherland as compère – what could be more fun?  It will held at the Granary, 32-34 Shore, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6QN venue which has room for dancing and the bar will be open for food and drinks to purchase on the night. As it is a licenced bar only people over 16 years will be admitted. Entrance is free but we will be collecting donations for Pasda.

Also Autism Initiatives is having a half day training session on Friday 31st March as part of World Autism Awareness Week.  Rachel McRitchie is holding an afternoon session from 2 – 4.30pm at Number 6 for anyone looking to gain a basic understanding of autism.
