Our next walk will be a visit to Linlithgow.
Please meet walk leader John Gannon at at Haymarket Station Entrance at 9.45 AM for X38 bus to Linlithgow arriving 11.04. A lovely walk through the grounds of Linlithgow Palace then around the beautiful Linlithgow Loch finishing at the Market Cross in town centre. Duration 2.5 miles.
There are some steps and a steepish short path initially from the palace to the loch shore but generally an easy walk. Please remember to wear suitable clothing and footwear.
Lunch at 1pm at the Four Marys pub 65-67 High Street Linlithgow. Buses return to Edinburgh every half hour.
